The perceived-stress check

Ten questions about the last month. For each one, tap how often you felt that way. It measures not the events in your life but how unpredictable and overloaded they have felt.

This is the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) by Sheldon Cohen, the most widely used measure of psychological stress. It is a snapshot of the past month, not a diagnosis, and stress reflects how things feel as much as what is happening.
