Autism-Spectrum Quotient · AQ-50

The full autism-spectrum quotient

Fifty statements about how you tend to think and relate to the world. For each one, tap how much you agree. It scores automatically at the end, with a breakdown across the five trait areas the scale measures.

This is the complete Autism-Spectrum Quotient (AQ), developed by Simon Baron-Cohen and colleagues. It measures autistic traits in adults of average intelligence; a score of 32 or above is the threshold the authors flag as worth a closer look. It is a screening tool, not a diagnosis, and many autistic people score below it while many non-autistic people score above it.
